is it ok to bend the cable 180 degrees so the tomahawk can piggyback on the player? the qables documentation says no more than 180 degrees with 5 cm radius; 0.4mm solid core silver.

still, if you're going to build the ultimate setup, it'd be best to do it one piece at a time - getting only the best pieces.

It could get quite expensive to "build up" to a great setup by buying all new pieces annually.
