how are the um2's treating you mathis?

I think they are great.
What I enjoy most are their sound isolation, good wearing comfort and low profile. They also sound pretty good, for an IEM that is.

Very Clean set ups to The Chemist and rxc

I really kind of want a D2 for my shures...just because of its portability..but then Id have to get rid of either my PSP or my zvm..and i like both of them

Do you notice a huge difference with the LOD vs the regular line out?

I wonder if there's any difference in driving the CK7's with the Xin, or straight from the 74mW amp of the D2.

FWIW, the 300 Ohm Sennheiser HD600 sound better directly driven by the D2, than with a PA2V2 attached in between. I know, the PA2V2 cannot be compared to the Xin at all - I'm just wondering...

No, not a huge difference...but there is smaller details. They are also more convenient. Here is a pic of another one I made last night: LOD + Canare Starquad + Canare F-12 termination! Sorry if the shots are blurry (stinkin' camera phone)

Sounds Great!!

build-wise, its solid, and actually locks in place unlike the dongle... sq-wise, before last night, i wouldnt say i noticed too much, but last night i started to notice more detail in songs, like hearing the plucking of the strings on a guitar...cant say if that was the LOD though... might have been the grados finally burning in
