My dap for now is my w810i phone, 4gb is enough to tide me over for now. It's not perfect: songs in alphabetical order(not album order), when shuffle is on it will repeat songs before it plays songs not yet played, very limited video playback(no ff rw), headphone jack only through proprietary dock cable. I'll probably move back to a stand alone player sometime in the future(sold my 30gb ipod photo), possibly when/if the new "fullscreen" ipods are released. Unless another dap/pmp with gapless playback comes along that works nicely with my mac. If not I'll just wait until high capacity flash players(15gb+) are common.

The SR-80 is sitting unused in a drawer as of now. I'm debating whether to sell it or give it to my brother
The HF-1 actually often gets locked up at work, usually, as for some strange reason, I have more time to listen at work than at home. You know, little annoyances like spouse, kids, etc
Over the weekend it comes home though

If you like the idea of threads that long then just take a look into the Members Lounge.... it shouldn't take you long to find Jahn's "Curse You Head-Fi" thread.

I remember the first two threads running to about 70 pages
Then people began starting a new one, and each thread kept becoming shorter just to have the bragging rights of having their rig as the first post I think. Whatever. You don't see the 'what you listening to now' thread in music being restarted all the time. They keep that to a one thread per year basis (now those are long)
But anyway, I'm not angry. Just wanted to say that. People do what they want regardless
