Yeah right,
post some pictures of my new portable setup

That's brilliant! I've got a ONE band that I rarely wear because I don't like wearing things on my wrists, but it'd be perfect to keep my ipod and ldm+ together! Right now I'm using a green rubber band

That is a GREAT idea!

I wonder how long before they stretch out and don't hold any more?

Right now I'm using a thin Velcro strap.

Finally got my own digital camera, so I'll be able to contribute what my gear is so far. It's not TOO special, juust v-moda bass freqs, D-Jays and K81s.

Hi
rhymegsgalore, the interconnect is made up of a 30 pin a/v connector from a ebay shop called summitimagestore http://myworld.ebay.com.au/summitimagestore/[/URL]
I just cut off the three av connectors, worked out which cables were left and right audio then soldered them plus ground into a gold plated 3.5mm plug disregarding the video cable. I painted the whole lot black and heat shrinked the cable. Cost about $18 including postage, heat shrink and plug. I compared it to a canare cabled mini mini and the creative dongle set up I used previously and I can't tell any diffrence in the sound quality. I even did a blind test with my partner swapping the interconnects and there is no sound diffrence at all. (I read that the quables interconnect sounds better than using the dongle, but at over $80 aussie dollars it would want to sound a lot better because my wallet just can't take the strain)

Cheers

Here is my current rig, as you can see I changed the click wheel to white because my old click wheel didn't work and I wanted a different color. Plus I got new Koss Sporta Pros.

Little update on my rig: I got the grado adapter cable for my HD595's and I got AKG K81DJ this morning (now burning 'em in)
I will now use K81DJ's for portable because they offer good insulation from outside noise, the HD595 sound way better but have no insulation, so they will be my home cans.
Here is the pic: notice the volume knob nearly maxed out on the LDM+ since I'm doing unattended burn-in on the cans

Here is a pic of my new Vibe (older V3) and my clix...I carry my modded 75's with me and my HD555 when im a long trip or at work on off times. Nothing special...the clix is held on the amp with 2 peice of velcro. I need to think of some type of case. Maybe something after a really small mini cable to use =)
