Dude, you know you can get some brand new 414 pads from Sennheiser pretty cheap, right?

Half of head-fi is using HD414 pads for all kinds of different headphones and one of the few that is actually using the HD414s doesn't have the pads. How do they sound with the ipod?

Hey, at least they're working now, that's what matters.

Cheers!

My modded Sony EX90's may become my main earphone! They are burning in well... perhaps a little more bass, bit smoother and wider soundstage than my UM2's -

they had pads on them, but they weren't that comfortable so i thought i'd try them without the pads just for the craic and they're actually quite comfy and sound alright so i don't really see any point in getting new pads. 'though i think they're the really high impendance ones, so i've had to crank up my itunes volume to 200% and crank the ipod up full. but most of the time i just use them at archery to listen to some music between ends and at breaktime, so they're dead on for that.

And since the T-amp runs on batteries, I can easily move the system anywhere throughout the house so it is portable!

Cheers, Dex

Two days in a row I've heard talk of the T-Amp.

One went for a song yesterday in the silent auction at the Boston meet.

Nice!

Nano (with metal case from ebay) -> TurboDock III -> RnB Audio Black Diamond Mini -> Xin SuperMini-3...or was it III? -> Xin 75-ohm "Ety adapter" -> Etymotic ER4p to the s

I must say that I liked the used looks of the nano =P

They should have shipped them like that from the begining, in metall and not glossy plastic **** ;D

I like the worn look as well. This metal case was pricey ($20usd +) but solidly- built and well worth it.
