Here's my setup

For music: iPod 5G 30gig, Ram Sik line out, Future Sonics EM3's, PA2V2 amp, Headroom bag

For movies and other: Dell Axim X51v

Ive never heard of those iems, are they comparable to the Westone Um1s?

Based on the price point, I'd say they are comparible. Since I've never listened to the UM1's, I have no comparison. I love the Future Sonics EM3's along with the large ETY yellow foamies - nice seal, decent bass, all around good sound for the price.

neat, i just wondered if they were close because they kinda look like each other.

Yeah I think they look more like expensive koss plugs, but fi you do the squint thing I guess they sort of look like um1's.
