i see, Im noticing a lot of static pops in the recordings here and there on certain notes, I listened to the cd directly and they are there too but not as apparent, I can only hear it when I am using the DAC, its as if it raises the clarity too much? it does get annoying when I come across a song that is poorly recorded, didnt notice any of these until I got the dac set up, now Im obssessing over recordings

if i listen out of an analog line out or speaker line out, its like a little tiny "snip" sound barely noticeable, out of the dac and USB or optical and I here a nice super duper clean totally transparent articulate, "POP"

. I could think of number of public places that something like this should never be taken too.

but the damn thing sounds incredible, its got the sound to match some home rigs.

The interesting aspect is getting a short cable with decent quality miniplugs.
