O MY!
RnB180 you re-cabled your E2's!?
You have GOT to teach me!
I was just looking at my own E2's a few minutes ago and just thinking to myself... these must be impossible to recable. haha
You are THE MAN!

Props to you!

not too tough. took me about an hour my first time.

e2's are not worth recabling however, I dont think any IEM is.
I did this because I wanted to see if it could be done.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to recable their IEMs though. Just not worth the hassle.

You cant open the e2s because the case relies on pressure. I just stripped the ends at the buds and spliced them.

Well, please allow me to take this chance to ask you how do you compare your e2c's to your Grado's. I may need to get some real canalphones and I can get those dow here in Mexico, but I really want to know if I could end up missing my Alessandro's and not liking the IEM's over them. Any opinion is welcomed. Thanks.

my grado sr-80s with flat pads sound better then the e2s, the e2s are a bit on the muddy side with not real detail.

personally I hate IEMs. too much of a hassle to insert and remove. My ear canals also feel raw after a long listening session.

Thanks, I guess I'll better save for Etymotics then.
