The Fenders are very warm and would be good for playing guitar threw from an amp. They dont have much highs so there wouldnt be any hiss. The ibanez have a nice full sound. Not sure what these were for, maybe some kinda guitar practice portable amp. Still kinda cool.

They're really nothing special. They were good for the time.

They're Demolition's btw. He doesn't frequent the forum anymore however. In fact, I haven't seen him for what seems like ages.

I just opened my D55 to check em out, WOW the driver is little. These things sound good for such a little driver

Sony needs to make a clip on set using these drivers. They would be good as a clip on or a little mini portable like the PX100 or somthing. Im really shocked how small it is and how good it sounds.

they're 30mm, the black paper rings are actually sitting on the back of drivers.

IMO D55s sound nothing special, I actually perfer D66's sound just because how "honky" D55s sound

How about a detailed comparison of the D-77 (I own two pair) to the D-66 for those who have not actually heard the D-66 (like me), though I did own a pair of D-55's.
