is it worth it to have a pico if you just have IEMs (UM3X), even though the DAC/amp costs more than the IEMs?

I would say so, the UM3x is a very good iem. If you don't need the dac and don't mind waiting some time you could consider the Slim

X2, I really enjoy my UM3x with Pico out of my iPhone or computer.

when i had it, i thought it was the best portable amp for all my phones, both iem's and full-sized cans.
i think it still is one of the best, and thats why i ordered one again recently.
