Probably for hearing aids which is their 1st order of business. R + L for units that would be otherwise difficult to differentiate.

Before Phonak starts making PFE, they are already in the hearing aid business. Those are the filters for hearing aid under the same Audeo brand. Some of them have color coded nozzle (red for right and blue for left, just like some IEM), so the filter comes with matching colors as well.
