Caution! Skip to the actual unboxing/looks and don't watch the whole video because too much talk.

49 minutes and he doesn't even give any sound impressions... What a disappointment.

Yeah, that's why I'm a big time comments reader and his reply:

First look only, full review coming later ✌

I also have the habit to use the mouse for fast-forwarding to see what's being shown there instead watching the whole thing.

A first look that takes 49 minutes? LOL
A proper review doesn't even need to take this long. Oh well, it's the Youtube generation, all talk....

Yeah, don't watch the whole crap. Just skip pieces till you got what you wanna see.

But holy.... 49 minutes of talk?? Well, I only watched how the X3 looks and then I closed Chrome lol

I wasn't much into that channel before, but now I'm not watching anything else by him ever again. 49 minutes of air... Ridiculous.

Yeah. He probably just wanted to be the first person to get a video out about them so he slapped this together.

Considering buying this, and the Fidelio X3. https://ifi-audio.com/products/zen-dac/
There's a 4.4mm Pentaconn output on the Zen-dac.
Do you think the Fidelio will have support for that? If so, where can you get the right cable? (min. 3 meters)
As I can see in specs, the X3 is delivered with a 3m unbalanced cable, with 3,5mm jack (and of course a 6.3mm adapter)

A friend of mine bought the ZenDAC at my urging--it fit the all-in-one profile to a T, plus I read positive reviews & user comments about it. But I never actually go to hear it myself. He likes it a lot...

I'm a noob regarding use of balanced cables, and Pentaconn 4.4mm jacks etc :)
Is there a possibility to use that with the X3?

I have used only BT headsets lately, and are a little nerd when it comes to TWS for ex.
But now I want a wired headset, an ok DAC/headphone amplifier connected to my HTPC, where I use Tidal HiFi. :)
