I’ve lost original cable and box with cable+Mic, so I can’t use it...
Can anyone suggest me a budget cable for L2?

Yeah, any 3.5 male to 3.5 male that is reasonably slim works really. I really like procab classic -- super sturdy in my experience, even if they do lightly 'dent' the outer material of the ear cup. Might not work with every phone case though.

Not sure if it's a revision or better QC, but the L2 I got a few months ago fits better over my ears and head. Not only is a Fidelio X3 on the way, yes, an L3 is, which will be closed back. Part of what makes the L2 my go to "smile EQ" (U or V shaped) cans is the lack of resonance due to being semi open, despite great bass. Dampening perhaps? We will see.

Yeah and there's mention of a wired X3 as well, but there isn't really much in terms of technical info.
If they stick the L2 drivers in a closed-back housing, I think they'll likely get too boomy. A lot of audio has been leaning pretty dark lately I think -- and a lot of ChiFi doing the 'hard base, drop in the lower middle, and shouty upper middle to make it sound detailed'. I hope these will be truer to the the L2 sound sig. If they are and the noise cancelling beats my H9i, I may well get them. The H9i and I never truly became friends...

I won the Brainwavz contest for August with this pic of my L2..I've been trying for days to think of anyone that might find this interesting besides me...

What hi-fi has a piece on the L3 which seems to be just a summary of a press release. Anyway, looks like the L3 is going to be a wireless noise cancelling headphone costing around €350, which puts it up against some pretty heavy competition... Release in December, so we'll see how they're tuned.

From the first impressions of the X3, it seems they stuck pretty close to the X2 sound, so that's promising I guess. But then again, they'd have to do more tuning if they stick the L2 drivers in a closed back.

I did find some time to compare my new L2 with my original L2. First, what the boxes state:
Original L2New "HR" L2
Frequency Range12-26,000 Hz6-40,000 Hz
Sensitivity105 dB93 dB
Maximum Power Input200 mW40 mW
Distortion< 0.1% THD< 3% THD
Impedance16 Ohm16 Ohm

Hi @oryan_dunn! I've read your other comment where you say they sound mostly identical and it may be just a different method of measuring and the differences could be just minute driver differences, but I wanted to double check: 40mW? Are you sure? Don't you mean 400mW?

Checking on Amazon, I'm assuming the "HR" new model is the one listed as L2BO?

They have the L2BO https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WTQDV5E/
and another without model listed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D2L4V7X
Both cost the same, have the same description with HR capabilities listed... I've tried asking the store that sells them, but I may be talking so someone who is illiterate for all the help they've been.

Thanks!
