Hey guys-

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this..but I just got back from J&R Music World in NY and bought a second Philips 963SA for $360 ! It's listed for $399 but I asked for a better price and got it with a smile.

Just a heads up for locals or if you order over the phone...ask for that price

They are practically giving these things away considering how good they are.

Hey Bundee1 ...if you are headed over there in person...It was a young gal with long hair on the second floor (audio). She was very nice and knew her department.

Thanks J, I havent been there in so long that they've probably
had staff turnover. I know a great guy who does phone sales and a couple of guys whos names I dont remember anymore, because of the time.

Hi,

I just called J&R to try to get this baby at $360. They wouldn't do it for me. I mentioned that others on this board had been able to get it for this price. He said that he would do it if I could give him an order number or name of anyone who had gotten this price.

Would anyone be willing to PM me the order number so I can get a match?

I got it for $360 also. Just asked for price match to my friend's order. Didn't have to give specifics.

$375 total including standard shipping (7-8 day or whatever).
