How does the CKM33 compare to the mc5? How does it compare to the meelectronics Cx21, Cw31, or A151? How does it compare to the Sony EX310 or panasonic RP-HJE450? How does it compare to the Soundmagic E30?

However, the MC5 has very clean bass and if you like bass, avoid it.

Just got The Audio-Technica ATH-CKM50A. I think the sound is magnific, especially since they were $19.95.
 
Thanks for the suggestion, I will raise the bar in few months and spend around $100 for a new pair.

I've tried a pair of Klipsch S4i and I didn't like them at all. I literally love the fitting and the sound of my Audio-Technica ATH-CKM50A, I hate the cable lenght but I like it when I bike...so...they're very good after all.
 
I was thinking about buying new ones, Audio-Technica ATH-CKM500, JVC HA-FXD80 or Etymotic HF5? Or do you suggest other?

Ya get the FXD70.. I think you will like it. Cheaper than the FXD80 but more proper for rock. Excellent for rock actually. Not too many guys have them but I do as well as a few other headfiers and all of us agree it is a hidden gem of an earphone. Try them out. The sound is crazy good for the bucks.

Damn, I really want to hear I have to buy the HF5, I really want to try them but I don't want to waste too much time ordering and returning and ordering other pairs etc., if only there was a place to try them.

I think you'll like any of those. yes, they are different signatures, but still better than ath ckm50 and definitely much, much better than meelec m6....
