Looking for a PCPD to use when traveling on an airplane as the minimun flight time for me go anywhere is five hours, the downside to living in Hawaii...

I will be using the PCPD with either an original Headroom Premium or first generation Airhead going to either SR 80s or ER4S.

The things that I am looking for is a decent battery life with alkaline batteries, good balanced sound out of the line out; I really dont like bright sounding players. I dont really need too much anti skip as I usually sit down and listen in the plane, I dont listen and walk around. The most important is that I need a reliable and durable player.

I have a CD3400 but I dont really like to travel with it because I dont want to break it while traveling.

Thanks for your help.

what about the D141 ? There is a bunch of these on ebay and they're quite good. The batteries will last at least for your flight.

The player itself has a nice warm sound, and a line out of course, just make a quick search.
