I have two fans in front, two in the rear, and the side one on intake... Plenty of air moving, with the side adding cooler air to the mix.

Though I heard putting the side fam as an intake will "ruin" the smooth airflow

It doesn't ruin airflow, it just ruins the overall look of you case. Side fans are disgusting. Especially side fans in door windows.

?  On my father's Raidmax Dirk-Tooth case, the side fan does not look ugly.  Added a translucent fan, does not bring much attention behind the glass.

The real issue is the dust it collects, which does look unsightly every few months or so.

"Woman... throw some vacuum on those panels on your way by, front and side."
Takes care of the dust.

Btw, should I set my side panel fan as intake or exhaust? (I have it as exhaust at the moment).

I always keep it exaust, to prevent dust.  But I imagine that doing so could raise temps for some people, my case has plenty of airflow.

Not my PC to do so, I have removable filters that I rise out.

I agree with this. Side panel fans and vents are ugly.

Hmm, I'll have to think about them.
Own the A900x, great headphone.  I think at this point I need something different, and the ma900 did not suit me particularly well.

I felt the Beyer T1 was a nice (and significantly more expensive) step up the A900X. Great all round presentation and imo, a highly versatile headphone, although the HD800 or a STAX would have it beat for classical and the LCD 2 and HE400 or HE500 would be slightly better for bassy music. The HE400 and HE500 are another couple of very good all rounders imo.

I am considering the HE-400, but I'm afraid its mostly hype.  If I only knew how it fared to the MA900, AD1000x, and DT880....

Hype is the #1 leading cause of overspending and disappointment lol
