Use my 7506's almost everyday. After getting the beyer pad mod, I realized it is essential. If you don't have it already, go get beyer velour pads, NOW.
Seriously. I'm not joking. Beyer velour pads. World of difference.
SayNoToPistons: The guy across the hall from me has them, I didn't think they sounded any better than my HD555s. He said he paid $160 for them, he listens to acoustic stuff and Green Day on them
jdimitri: What MIDI controller is it? At first I thought it was mine, the Evolution MK425C, but the buttons are beside the LCD instead of under it.
I've heard the V6/7506 is very good for trance/ambient music, which is about all I've been listening to lately. I wanted to keep my HD555s for my all-around can, but I'm thinking about replacing them with a pair of 7506s. Anyone have a pair they want to trade for a pair of HD555s?
