Here's a pretty recent pic, I figured he'd be using those Pioneer HDJ1000s that all the electronica DJs are raving about:

Yeah, i see DJ's everywhere with the Pioneer HDJ-1000s. Theyre everywhere! Probably because they look cool with the chrome and black two tone?

I have to admit. They look sexy. DJ's love them too. They're so popular among DJ's. THere are fake copies of them!

Use my 7506's almost everyday. After getting the beyer pad mod, I realized it is essential. If you don't have it already, go get beyer velour pads, NOW.

Seriously. I'm not joking. Beyer velour pads. World of difference.

SayNoToPistons: The guy across the hall from me has them, I didn't think they sounded any better than my HD555s. He said he paid $160 for them, he listens to acoustic stuff and Green Day on them

jdimitri: What MIDI controller is it? At first I thought it was mine, the Evolution MK425C, but the buttons are beside the LCD instead of under it.

I've heard the V6/7506 is very good for trance/ambient music, which is about all I've been listening to lately. I wanted to keep my HD555s for my all-around can, but I'm thinking about replacing them with a pair of 7506s. Anyone have a pair they want to trade for a pair of HD555s?

Looks like an E-MU Xboard 25. Nice to see him using the MOTU Ultralite too.
