i'm not really sure what to search for to see if this has been discussed before, but i'd like to get a little box with (preferably) two 1/4" inputs and two 1/4" outputs with switches so that i can more easily do a/b comparisons of headphones/amps/etc.  does something like that already exist?

the Hosa SLW-333 is a 3 channel one...

They are not terribly difficult to build either. You could even modify an inexpensive speaker selector box.

$120, ouch.  yeah, i figured it would probably not be too hard to diy, but i've never even used a soldering iron before :/
