So I did the tape mod as noted in Sunneebear's threa d and noticed that there is an empty compartment between the driver and the shell that houses the cables.  Upon looking at the Sennheiser HD-202 comfort mod, I wondered if adding polyfil into that empty compartment would bring any benefits to these HTX7 headphones.

Adding polyfil will balanced parameters, but also kill some clarity. I've tried adding some memory foam here and that's what happened next.
So I choose to change it into open headphone in order to get more balance and sound stage.
