It might take a while playing with keywords, but you can find a wealth of information comparing these two IEMs using the search function of this board. I know I've found a lot of comparisons between these two, and it seems to come down a lot to preference of sound signature.

I don't mean to sound anal, but people who already have a pair of these are not as likely to read this thread and people who already own Westone UM2 might only be reading this thread to obtain a pair of these, like you.

Well, I pulled the trigger on them. They were too irresistable, and as was pointed out if I don't prefer them to my ER6i's (har har) then I can offer them here for someone to snap up.

Edit: I just pulled up bobsound1's ebay page, and the E500's aren't listed anymore. I guess I got the last pair.
