I just got a pair of E3c's..I loved my E2c's...thought maybe I'd go up a notch.

I listened to a few tracks of Aerosmith (The Big Ones album). I have to say w/out doubt the 3c's are incredibly more clear in hearing all of the sound,

however, in rapidlly switching back and forth, it seems that at times my 2c's have a bit more bass, BUT, at other times where the 2c's sound a bit more muffled than the 3c's.

I am just not sure which ones to keep.

This sucks....

It's a trade-off. The E2's have much more bass, so much that it kind of hurts the other frequencies. For the long hall, I would go with E3C. More accurate sound overall and much more comfortable. Also, with E3, notice the great separation and soundstage of instruments which hardly exists in E2. If you can get beyond the slightly veiled highs, E3's are very good in my opinion.

Seconded. The e4's are my favorite IEM's by far.
