My ankle is swollen but I went to the doctor, he look a look at it and said it's nothing serious. I got an ankle and knee support with crutches. I also got a few ice gel packs.
Having trained in different fighting styles, whenever you hear a "popping sound" and fall to the floor in jaw-clenching pain, you usually get yourself checked out. If it lasts longer than a few minutes and it's not a pain you recognize, get it checked out. You don't want to do something that you'll regret. Good luck and bummer on the peanut.
