I went to New York this weekend to hand out with some friends and see some of the sites. On Friday I went to to see Metamorphoses, a play that tells some stories from Ovid's epic poem. The second story of the play was of Orpheus, a great musician who's "music made even the mountains sway and the trees strain to hear it".

Anyway, I've never been into mytholodgy but I thought some people may be interested as I assume this is the source for the name of Sennheiser's Orpheus.

On another music note, I saw Jay-Z at Tao later that night having dinner with some people.

The tale of Orpheus in the underworld is a marvelous one, I encourage everyone interested to seek it out.

Edith Hamilton published a long time ago a really nice book of mythology. well written and easy to find in second hand or in cheap editions.
