I still used my Sony Vaio laptop FX-290 (if I'm not mistaken) P3-850, 192 Memory & 20 gb harddrive. It is 6 yo (bought it at 2001) It came out with windows me but I installed xp-pro on it.
My complain:
It's so slow (I know its spec it's not up to par for xp-pro) It's only purpose is browsing in my bedroom now.
The power connection is getting troublesome (I have to put the power cable at certain angle)
Battery is dead.
Touchpad is annoying (Mostly I use a usb mouse)
It doesn't hold up really well, my friend's HP which he bought about a year later hold up good enough (no problem with power connection & touchpad) however he has to change his hard-drive though. I don't think I'm going to buy another sony laptop. I'm planning to buy Macbook to replace it.
