As you can see I want headphones that are very stylish. I am not a DJ but I listen to music a lot. The music I listen to is hip/hop, rap and the pop songs you here on the radio (current hits). Also I'm a teen if that makes a difference. I won't be willing to spend over $150 and below $100 is a bonus. I have looked at other companies like Sennheisser (sp), Koss, AKG, Boss and other high end but none are flashy and stick out from the crowd. I'm sure those companies are better quality but I really want style.....(sigh*) maybe there is no best of both worlds.

I would be embarrased to wear either of those out in public but if forced to choose at gunpoint I'd go with the Reloops. The skullcandies are waaayyyyyyy ugly.

Technical data with headphones is tricky and can be very misleading. I'll let someone a bit more knowledgable answer that one, but one of the key tech specs to look for is its Impedence. the Reloops have 24ohm impedence which basically means it requires little power to reach a high volume.

Neither? I mean I don't know much about the reloops and Skullcandies are generally never worth their price. Are you buying these for a fashion statement or because you geniuenly want a good set a headphones? Cause we can help you with that, and e can tone down the "Camp" factor quiet a bit.

Sorry I have little experience with either of those headphones so I might not be the best person to ask. What genre are you listening to? hip/hop? rock? A headphone may sound incredible with hiphop but when used for rock it may sound awful.

I dont think you'll find many skullcandy fans around here. Never heard of reloops. Plus both of those look ridiculous to me.

Oh and trust me you don't want Sennheisers if you want good hip hop cans. Audio Techinica, Bereydynamic, Shure, Denon's, Sony's, Technics,and Stanton's  would all be beter companies for hip hop unless you want to spend quiet a bit for a full sound system and a pair of high end Senns.

Here. You get some 'fashion' in terms of the hoodie and you also get the headphones.

I have listened to the 428 and the 238, and I liked the 238 better. It seemed to have more bass and clarity, while the 438 was more plain with roll of in extended bass frequencies.
 
If your player has a great EQ many things are possible; more bass, treble, clarity, ect.

Welcome. It is nice to see another consumer seek advice before a "major" purchase.
If you plan on getting into this hobby for minimal cost I would suggest getting a pair of IEM's. That is how I started.
I understand that this almost seems like a non sequitur but if you are a teen (I am too) I don't think you should spend a large amount of money on something you really can't appreciate fully. 
V-Moda Bass Freqs - Shure SE110 - UE SuperFi 5vi - Grado SR225i
Each was a little step up, but the Grado's were a HUGE improvement.
I am just saying if you just go with the M50's you will like them but will continue with MP3's not FLAC. You won't be listening to music, you will be hearing it.
