How do the foamies go in - flat shiny side w/ the large opening toward the ear or the other way around?

Are you sure? I'm having a hard time fitting that huge nozzle into that tiny hole.

I have mine on shiny side towards the ear - inner tube is narrower towards the ear.

I meant flat shiny side with SMALL opening towards ear or other way around. It's kind of lame that this isn't covered in the manual.

Well, the side with the larger opening fits MUCH easier with that huge (compared to my Westones) flared nozzle, but I managed to get the small side on on one side, but it wasn't easy. I think I need a cigarette, and I don't smoke.

I tried it both ways, shiny side towards ear sounds better to me, and it's ten times easier to get on/off, so that's what I'm going with.
