Where I live, the HD650 costs 495-500$, and people around here says that there are now better headphones in this price range. Can you guys help me out by suggesting superior headphones in this price range?
 
I own DT990 and HE-400, so a headphone that differs from these would be appreciated.

You talking new prices or used but in very good-mint condition? If used is okay I would think an HE-500 would be pretty close to what you are looking for.
