BTW, we finally find a winner over Traillii: Traillii +C9. This is just a whole different experience than Traillii alone...

It really is, Traillii from DX220 Max was the widest and most open soundstage I had heard but this surpasses that and adds some nice fatigue free warmth to it. It’s incredible.

If you want to have a more “dramatic” effect, make sure you spend some time with the Traillii alone first before you attach it to C9, and then... boom.

Considering that Cayin may upgrade N6ii soon and there are better Android options available, and if native streaming is not a must for you, then I would recommend LPGT + C9.

BTW, Lotoo Paw Gold is an older flagship of Lotoo. Great DAP still, but I think you will want its touch version, I.e., Lotoo Paw Gold Touch.

Exactly, you will need to get a different motherboard and switch that in to be used as a standalone DAP.

You do but not too difficult. Can be done in 2 minutes. Still, this is something to consider.

Oh as a stand-alone DAP, LPGT is much better than N6ii in terms of sound quality.
