What cable are you using instead of stock?I must have 50 or 60 hours on it...mids are opening up and clarifying and my jaw is on the ground! I don't know whats better, the mids or the bass! 3D holographic SS...it's like a soundstage within a SS! One reviewer said its like having a subwoofer inside your head...SS is vast! If anyone is still using stock cable I urge you to get something better...these need 8 wire cables with silver in it to shine!

Sure, why not. I just ordered the 8 wire silver the other day....Can I use this one for Szalayi?
Thanks!
I'm finding the SZA is VERY dependant on tips and cables...I've been using yellow spinfits but the mids were a bit 'forced' sounding. I switched to those horn tips, and the mids are much cleaner and relaxed.

I'm using Azla Short still and enjoying them a lot - Szalayi is the most cable dependent IEM I've owned, amazed how it can differ... I'm pretty settled on Penon GS849 for now, a nice balance - the LL Martini drove a bit too much in the low end at times.

Going by the images provided, my only concern is the very short nozzle. How are owners finding this, any issues?
Does anyone have any thoughts about how many hours burn in the SZA needs? I haven't really been keeping track, I have maybe 50- 60 hours, but it sounds like everything is clicking in and just came into focus. Has anyone taken it to 150 hours or beyond? Are there still benefits?

I’ve been now between 120-140 hours using SZA and it gets better. Remember: I’m not rolling cables, just tip rolling to azla sednafit.Does anyone have any thoughts about how many hours burn in the SZA needs? Two nights ago I’ve listened to a very dense japanese OST track by Otomo Yoshihide, Idaten. In every IEM I have (Volt, Monarch, Mest MII, Forsteni, Billy Jean, Imperial Nanna) all sounded between muddy and very congested from minute 1:44 onwards, when you just get the crescendo with the symphonic orchestra, the Brazilian and Japanese percussion teams and the mixed choir playing loud altogether:
Well, two nights ago I’ve heard all of them with the SZA well defined and positioned within the imaging from the first time in 2 years that I’ve got the album, so I guess it counts as an improvement
