Yeah, I think that was my original point, but I got sidetracked by something shiny, and just hit send.  So far, it seems it will end up a nice unit, but it doesn't do "that other stuff."

Agreed that the HA-2 sounded clear and precise, I liked it with the more open voiced PM-3 at RMAF.

Thin form factor was a bonus also!

Because not everyone remembers what the older beta unit looks like, I took some photos of the two stacked. Please keep in mind that this isn't the final production unit, so the appearance might change a little bit here or there.
The unit on top is the old beta

^ it's hard to tell in the photo, but the newer units have dimmer battery life LEDs

^ in this photo, the older beta unit is on the bottom

The HA-2 will ship with a micro-USB-B to OTG cable. This allows for both the Android device to send audio to the HA-2 and also charge the device at the same time (if you so chose too).

I know they're not what some people would consider 'hi-rez', but I'd like to know if the HA-2 will allow us to use Spotify/Tidal/Quobuz on android 4.4.4?

I have a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact and am wondering whether I should wait for the HA-2 ( was considering other devices, but I expect the HA-2 will be pretty good )
