My SD is the first balanced cable for PM-3 Moon Audio has done. I just crossed emails with Drew confirming it is working beautiful so he is updating his website to make it available to order. If it is not there just email Drew and let him know what termination you need at the amplifier side.

Okay, I'm now trying to track down a 3.5mm TRRS connector that will fit in the PM-3.  I found this guy, but I suspect the thin part is too short:

Anyone else have any suggestions?

DoubleHelixCables makes balanced cables to fit the PM-3, and they have a 3.5mm connector that will fit (as well as whatever you want for the other end).  For example:

I see that you have Explorer2. How does it pair with PM-3?

Exceptionally well.  Plenty of power and better than the previous Explorer.

They're closed cans with fake leather, so yes, they are sweaty. :)

they actually don't get very sweaty compared to the majority of other closed portable pleather/leather earpad headphones I've tried. The synthetic leather that the PM-3's use are quite breathable. I live in Texas & I have a lot of experience with different closed portable headphones. The PM-3 I can wear out and about without any issue. It is really as non-sweaty as you can get with a closed non-velour earpad. while the pm3 is more breathable than most of the other leather/pleather earpads, velour earpads will always be much more breathable though.

I use them while mowing the lawn (I know, I know...) and can confirm that when you get sweaty - they get sweaty :)

Anyone in warm climate want to enlight us if the PM-3 are sweaty?

I live in AZ so it doesn't get much warmer than that but I'm really a sweaty guy so I haven't noticed to much warmth but summer is right around the corner and these are going to be my goto portable pair because there is no way in hell I'm taking my T5p's out unless its a short trip.

Thanks,

I just demoed the PM-3s for a week and only once did I notice moisture.  I was working out in the yard and perspiring just a little but they got wet under the pads.  I think this is inevitable.  The sweat comes from us.  In a closed space there is nowhere for it to go. I don't think you want a pad that wicks up the sweat and absorbs it into the pad.  Pretty soon you will have old tennis shoe odor.  Yes some pads are marginally better than others in this regard, and in that sense the PM-3 aren't bad but I've never worn a portable headphone that didn't get a little wet at one time or another.
