Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions

What did their pads cost? There’s no price list to be found on their site

Cute, I see they used my PM-3 in the new product shots. I will say that right now it’s extremely difficult to order anything from them as many banks have ceased payments to Belarus (where they are located). I sent them in a week before the Russian invasion and didn’t see them return for a good few months.

To be fair it’s not their fault entirely but I wish there was a better way than some complicated crypto payment, especially since I’m not into the crypto game.

Anyway, for the pads I had it was about $60.

Thanks for the info! Didn't realize where they are located, does indeed sound a bit complex at the moment…

Any progress on this?

Managed to grab some PM3s in good condition and want to prepare myself for when the pads disintegrate...will probably grab a headband cover too.

These were great cans for the price and IIRC rather comfy. If you have a pair, may it serve you well :)
Thank you! And fully agree. Had a pair back in the day that I eventually traded and glad I've managed to grab these - so good for office use, and some of the sweetest mids ever.

Going to drop you a DM about a separate query re the iFi Gold Bar btw...

When I owned the LCD-2F and the PM3, I used to refer to the PM3 as a "baby brother to Audeze". Way more comfortable too.

I refurbished my PM3 with new Brainwaze sheepskin pads and a headphone cover. I just carefully stretched the rubber surrounds around the cups.

I recently bought some imitation leather pads with Oppo clips, but I prefer the sheepskin for comfort.

I still enjoy them. They are so well built (apart from the flaky fake leather), I believe they will last a very long time :)

Anyone looking for good pads for the PM-3. I found these to fit and work the best.

MSR7 Replacement Earpads, JARMOR... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081CFT736?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I also recently bought these factory type snap on type. I haven’t tried them, but I put them away as they are at least worth the plastic snap ring in case I break my originals.

Sixsop PM-3 Earpads Compatible... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T6VQYZ5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Yes, both pairs are pleather, but I have found the first pair to hold up well so far and it’s been a few years. They are very comfortable fit perfect and sound excellent!

They are far and away better then the originals. The originals are not very well made as I found out after I took them off and inspected.

I can vouch for the Sixsop pads. They fit great and seem good quality. Been a while since I had the stock pads, so hard to do a sound comparison, but my impression is that I'm back closer to stock than I was with other replacement pads.
