I have owned a brand new La Figaro 339 for 1 week bought from DOUKMALL an Ebay seller. There were initial problems with left signal path buzzing that seem to be resolved. My current concern is the humming/buzzing noise coming from the amp that can be heard up to 3 metres away. Because the power supply to left and right can be turned on and off separately I have worked out that 80% of the noise is coming from the left hand channel, ie when only the right hand channel is on it is fairly silent.
Could I please ask for anybody's experiences of the amount of noise that would be expected to come from this amp.
Are they normally dead silent?
Is a slightly audible hum normal?
Is what I am hearing normal?
The music produced by this amp is excellent and besides the excessive hum it seems to be working fine.
I have posted 2 threads as a "newbie" in the help section and only 1 person replied to these.
I am still in a situation where I could return the amp so would be extremely grateful for people's experiences/help.

I don't have experience with this amp but @Ultrainferno does.

Regardless, I would return it. Did you get a decent price on it?

Get it fixed or return it. I strongly advise to buy directly from Yuking09.com only.
