Well Thank you for the suggestions I received in this thread!

As regard Sony I will wait a bit. Mainly because presently I cannot find any 7506 in the price range I am willing to pay in Canada.

I decided to go with the Equation headphones. I am glad of having been guided in that direction. I am in the reading of the long thread about them. I found a dealer in my area and have put aside a set of RP22 that I will get on friday.

No RP21 at any dealer in Montreal. I will put a WTB or continue looking for some.

I find interesting that they can be modded and reverted if I decide without a big harware job.

The impressions/reviews about the RP22 are hinted more towards headphone for jazz but I will see how they perform with Opeth.

Also I do listen mostly to classic and jazz so interesting times are ahead!!!
