I have hfi-780s and am very satisfied with them as fun headphones and closed when thats necessary. Now Im looking for some open headphones with a big soundstage, good detail, and very little to no coloration. This may be asking too much, but whats available?

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for k501s because this is the sound signature I'm looking for (tried them a long time ago), but are there any more available headphones similar to these? Or even, other out of production cans I should look out for (old AKGs or something)? I'll just get this out now that I am not a big fan of the general sennheiser sound signature, and don't find them particularly detailed or natural. Thanks for any suggestions.

AD700's fit the bill nicely.

MASSIVE soundstage with craploads of air and seperation, detailed and energetic. Slightly on the bright side so they may be a bit too coloured for you.

ooh i didnt think about the AT open air series. ill look into that.

I have tried the dt880s and i found them a little too bright (sometimes sibilant).
