hi just wondering if anyone can make me some recommendations, looking to download things in 256 or 320 preferably without DRM
specifically looking for switchfoot albums that i cant seem to find in any local music shops. CD's would be okay too.

shame amazon is US limited. they have everything on there.

I can't answer about the mp3 stores, but I live in Canada and order frequently from all amazons around the world (including the one in Germany where I needed a friend to translate me the checkout procedure

).

Maybe you can order from Australia too?

How about Linn Records?
* 320Kbps MP3 files (and lot of other codecs/formats).
* DRM free.
* Non-US based (Scotland, UK to be precise).

Well, once you pay for an album or song you're free to download it for your own use. I'd suggest buying whatever songs (preferably albums) you want from wherever is cheapest, then using one of the prevalent ways of getting high bitrate or lossless music that would otherwise be "illegal" to get whatever quality you want.

7digital is very nice. They have a locker feature where you can re-download all of your songs. Most of their library seems to be in 256 or 320.
