Received mine last week, satisfied with it so far. :relaxed:

I'd have three feature suggestions for the next firmware update(s), @Shanling, maybe you could implement some of it eventually, please?

1. Option to turn off the screen after a set amount of time. Screen saver, but really.

2. Option to use less volume steps than 100 (at least in DAC Volume mode). So, for example, doubling the amount of dBs one step changes, ultimately halving the steps. I quite like how on the KA17 by FiiO I can have 60 steps (or 120), it's quicker for me to find the ideal loudness between songs.

3. Option to turn off the sampling rate indicator light of the circular button.

Thank you!

Mine came today and it’s impressive out of the box. It’s quite a bit smaller than I expected it to be. It’s also quite a bit more powerful than I expected too. They’re not artificially inflating those numbers at all. This thing has juice to spare. It sounds very transparent with maybe a touch of warmth to its signature. I’m enjoying it so much with IEMs at the moment that I haven’t plugged a set of full sized cans into it yet. But I’m going to use the HD650 with it next and see if it can drive 300 ohm without issue.

Uhm...
If you go thru the options... you will see that they do have a screen saver option as well as a time out setting.

If you set this to control the volume of the source... I don't think you have 100 steps, but mimic the steps of the underlying device.

Some further observations...

On my macbook, I can play with the midi settings and I'm using eqMac which has a setting for my Ditia Project M.
(Note: Even without the eqMac, the sound was great although the bass was a little bit subtle. )
eqMac has a preset for the DitaMs and I created my own EQ settings to boost the base slightly.

So I played w the midi application.
I could set it up to be 2 channel 32bit 768kHz which a bit overkill.
Honestly I could have set it to 384kHz and not hear a difference. (Could be due to my source, Spotify) or just my ears. (I'm an old fart in my 50's)

That said... @ToneDeafMonk was right. The Onix Alpha was a good pairing w my Dita project Ms.
Depending on what type of music you listen to... even w no EQ, the sound and separation was great.
I used to play cello (many moons ago) and when I listen to some cello music by Yo Yo Ma and others, you can really hear how well the instrument sounded.

I haven't tried this w my M&D MW65's but will do so later tonight.

Does anyone have thought on the PCM filtering in terms of latency and fast or slow?

Thx
