Hi. I noticed my oneac cp-1105 has a very loud hum so I opened it up and dynamated it and put it on top of two calculus textbooks to dampen the noise =P
It's much quieter, but I wish it was silent.
Are they all like this or was I just unlucky?

Mine has a hum, but it is only noticable if I put my head quite close to the device and it is very silent around me. Since I usually listen on K271S, a hum of this magnitude is not a problem for me.

I just got mine and it has a hum too. I've put it in my cabinet rack at the bottom and placed foam packing underneath it; this seemed to really dampen the hum and keep it from being amplified by the wood in the cabinet. Now I can only hear it if I jam my head in the cabinet close to the Oneac.

Good news is the sonic improvement in noise floor the cp1105 seems to provide more than makes up for the hum (my listening position is pretty far away from the unit too).

My CP1110 is silent as far as I can tell. Certainly inaudible next to my computer.

I think most higher end conditoners have a slight hum to them.
My monster HTS3600 had a rather significant operating noise to it when I first plugged it in. I cant hear it over my computers though and certinally not over my headphones.
