The FH9 takes a new-gen unibody industrial design. Different from the traditional assembly approach, the pure titanium earphone shell looks seamless. The color scheme is also special, which is the original color of titanium without any chemical color processing.

Included in the FH9 is a 13.6mm dynamic bass driver instead of a 10mm one in most flagship hybrid IEMs. It is FiiO's 2rd-gen self-developed driver, whose magnetic circuit structure has been redesigned resulting in 20% higher magnetic density than that of the 1st-gen.
