I am currently trying to collect all 50 of the Jazz recordings on this list (https://www.udiscovermusic.com/stories/50-greatest-jazz-albums-ever/) in the vinyl version. I have about 10 of them so far. Trying to get an original (not reissue) when ever possible. My latest pickup is the original blue note release of Horace Silver's "Song For My Father". Good stuff!
One of the first jazz CDs I bought. The recording quality is excellent, and the occasional background sounds of the diners, does help recreate the feel of the live performance.
