Hard to imagine them doing a device with 0 ports just yet. I’m just hoping pressure from the EU makes the next iPhone come with usb-c

The coming of wireless charging should negate the EU’s insistence on USB-C, while still wanting the wall chargers to be standardized. That is, removing the port shouldn’t be a big deal for main stream users, but I think Apple is not going to leave a high number of users behind that rely on some sort of physical connection with their phone just like they’ll never remove the port from some iPads. I can well see Apple offering USB-C on top of the line on their ‘Pro’ models, and making us pay the price
