I just tried Schiit Loki EQer + Schiit Audio Vali(v1) tube amp + Senn HD600 good old system.
it sounds most warm/human/gentle/kind/natural sounding among all my headphone gears(include Stax).
current technology is heading to something wrong direction. I guess.

That 30 yrs old article is interesting.
Having stepped into this hobby only recently, of course reading / watching all the usual stuff on YT / and the net it seems to me it has all been there before. I mean, like 30 years before.
