The ragnarok has 10x the power of the wa5, and doesn't depend on tubes. That second thing is a a double edged sword, since you can use tubes to tweak the sound (I have a tube in my ember to roll of the highs so that my modded HE-500's aren't too harsh), but they are crazy expensive. You can't find a cheap 300B tube to save your life these days, and that's just a long-term cost that I personally don't want to deal with.

Edit - Raggy is also half the price...wow, totally forgot how much the WA5 costs. Yikes.

God, I need to go apartment shopping, I really want this but my mom will though a fit if it arrives at her house. Regardless, I eagerly await the next round of impressions.

Ordered. Would be really interested to know how many orders come in today, as opposed to tomorrow or next week or in the next month. Of course, I'm sure Jason will be watching that closely, too...

Jason, do you expect the orders to close on this very quickly? I would like to place an order, but i'm not sure that I would be able to until tomorrow. I'm worried that too many orders will be placed before then and I will miss out on the first run.
