Seriously i know we have Lot of people here who work in diffrent field, people who like to mod there headphone, i ask if one of them can build a headband for RS-1

I bought the Beyerdynamic headband but even if he do the job, he look Ugly as he don't have the right size (look here with pics http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showth...light=headband )

The last solution someone told me was to ask Larry at headphile.com, which replied to me that he can't help me

I Love too much my RS-1 to leave it with this ugly headband on top of it, and i know i'am not the only one who need a headband for RS-1

It's Larry from headphile.com ?

The headband look similar, but the problem is how to install it, look like we have to do the same manipulation as for the one here http://headphile.com/page9.html where we can read "The installation can be fairly easy or a real pain, depending on how hard your plastic L or R letter piece is to remove."

How about, swap the headband from your SR60 with RS1, and then the beyer headband should snap over in the fully closed position...

Kind of a different request as the RS-1's have the nicest headband assembly of all of the Grados. Usually, people are looking for leather headband replacements for their HF-1's or lower.

I could see how people might not like the Grado look in general....but what don't you like about the RS-1's headband?

Yes i should precise it here again in this post, the RS-1 headband look Fantastic, but he is Too long

I was not really sure about that (fell the pad was some kinda too low) but since i use Beyerdynamic headband i know for sure Grado headband are too long, so the only solution is to use a padded headband on it, now the pad are at the place they should be and the sound get better

That mean a glue contact on the leather Grado headband ?....

And... not sure he'll look good on a RS-1

How about you adhere an hd580 headband pad on the rs-1 headband. Here they are.
