Hello, I´m looking for non portable a Dac/amp for iRiver h120 with denon d2000 and after reading many post this are my options: Octavart-01 headphone amplifier, Musiland m10 and Yulong DAH1. What do you believe is the best option in SQ? If there are others options please tell me. Thank you.

i've read that the amp section of the musiland md-10 is not very good.

i'm probably going to buy an octavart myself for work: macbook pro optical out > octavart > AT ESW9. jasmine_chine on ebay has counter-offered me a price of $210 + $30 shipping, but i am trying to negotiate down to $200. She sold them for $200 one year ago, but i think the exchange rate is worse for the US$ now. her listing is 2007 Brand New O1 Headphone Amplifier with DAC. it looks to be pre-name change, but i think (but not sure) it is not different from Octavart THE ONE.

i also have the D2000, but will be using these at home. i am looking at possibly purchasing the Travagan's WHITE ONE DAC/Amp for the time being for $290 shipped.

wow, $199 + $20 shipping. that's even better than jasmine_chine, who did agree on $200 + $30.

however, jasmine also has an option to get a PCLink USB>Optical adapter for only $10 more!

jasmine's looks like the older O1 model vs. the newer Octavart THE ONE on head-direct.

dilemmas.

Head Direct is a Head-Fi sponsor! maybe that will sway a few.
