More photos on L&P L5 includes its innards:

From its PCB photos, looks like it only uses one 1 PPM TCXO oscillator.
It does look very beautiful inside and outside though.

Got mine for RMB3500 (USD560). Compared it to LP5 silver, C4 and DX90 with IE800 and He-400i.
With both the headphones, the l5 blows the DX90 away, not even in the same class. Vs C4, there's more treble extension and more details. The signature is similar, which means, good soundstage depth, clean and natural. Vs LP5 silver, the sounded quite similar, I think the L5 has an even bigger soundstage.

Finishing is great, it is down right classy.

Now the bad news, the touch screen is not of the capacitive type, that means u have to apply pressure on the screen.

So weird! In the impressions above, the touch screen is said to be resistive type, but in the review, the screen has ONCELL touchscreen technology, which is a capacitive screen technology. I'm so confused!

Under 700 dollars? Looks interesting and I am relieved to see that not all manufacturers follow iRiver's disgusting marketing and pricy tactics. Yeah, I still didn't accept their new and more fashionable name.

It's nice to see more DAP manufacturers finally beginning to take DAP weight seriously.

(Colorfly, Soundaware Esther, etc., and, of course, the 'old' DX50/90)

LP5 just released some pictures of the Luxury & Precision L5

Build quality, inside and out, looks absolutely stunning.

But... I shudder to think how heavy this DAP might be....

Does anyone know?
