i love Oakley stuff, i've got lots of sunglasses and watches from them but i think they dropped the ball on the Thump; i think the design is way too much. not to mention they are overpriced as well. that said, it is an interesting idea to combine two separate things into one, and for a company like Oakley, i applaud them for taking chances whether they're successful or not. anyway, i've tried them on at a local Circuit City, and they look slightly comical. as for the sound quality, it didn't WOW me but it didn't really disappoint me as well. i was expecting really bad sound quality, but it's actually not bad, even considering all the bustle and noise around Christmas shopping.

rumour has it they're developing a sunglass/bluetooth combo right now.
