What do you think guys? Are the Hem-8 worth the $200 price nowadays?

You can use pretty much every ordinary 0.78mm 2-Pin cable. The original cable though has a turtleneck which covers some parts of the connection, other cables won't have this so they will stand out a bit more. That's btw how the very common Plastics1 looks like with a HEM:

Ordered on the 17 Aug and turned up in the UK today. The pins fit ok, so now I need to burn them in.
According to the description they fit: Westone UM3XRC / W4R / NF Audio NF2 / NF3 / NF4 / JH Audio JH13 / JH 16 / Earsonics SM64.
So any cable that fits them should fit the Hem8.

I was actually able to get one sent to me directly from NuForce. They now have them available for sale at $29 but you might have to call the parts department at 888-942-2929.
